All persons attending today wore facemasks when required, checked in, observed social distance requirements and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

Panadero Warrior and Patchy Walloper collided soon after the start. Go Undertaker visably eased soon after the start and tailed off as a result. Patchy Walloper checked off Panadero Warrior approaching the home turn.

Go Undertaker underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 4. It was reported that Go Undertaker sustained an injury to the right shoulder. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr. Gary Cowcher regarding the greyhounds racing manners soon after the start.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Go Undertaker was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Cowcher pleaded guilty to the charge, Go Undertaker was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Lure Driver, Mr Ben Rogers did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event.

The start of this event was delayed by one minute to hold for Dubbo thoroughbreds.

Jerwood Bale was quick to begin.

Rattling Rosie and Mountain Snake collided approaching the first turn. Rattling Rosie, Hunter Grange and Mountain Snake collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Hunter Grange and Mountain Snake collided several times approaching the home turn and on the home turn severely checking both greyhounds. Barooga Banjo and Rattling Rosie collided in the home straight.

Flying Frank and Oriental Onyx were slow to begin.

Gecko Fernando, Grumpy Grange, Destini Spitfire, Jagger's Lady and Mr. Fawnstone collided approaching the first turn. Gecko Fernando, Destini Spitfire, Jagger's Lady and Mr. Fawnstone collided on the first turn checking all four greyhounds. Flying Frank and Oriental Onyx collided approaching the home turn checking Flying Frank. Flying Frank and Jagger's Lady collided approaching the home turn.

Remember Prince was slow to begin.

Tobin Frost and Iceni Riot collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Tobin Frost and Iceni Riot collided approaching the first turn checking Tobin Frost. Gleeson and Love Heart collided approaching the first turn. Tobin Frost, Iceni Riot and Love Heart collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn checking Iceni Riot. Whiskey Road, Gleeson and Earn The Answers collided approaching the home turn checking Gleeson. Whiskey Road and Earn The Answers collided in the home straight checking Whiskey Road.

Saint Mac and Zippy Wiesman collided soon after the start and approaching the first turn checking Saint Mac. Dr. Wade, Zippy Wiesman and Spearhead Joe collided on the first turn. Aston Kenno and Ballara Bullet collided on the first turn. Zippy Wiesman checked off Aston Kenno approaching the home turn. Aston Kenno, Dr. Wade and Spearhead Joe collided approaching the home turn checking Dr. Wade and Saint Mac and severely checking Spearhead Joe which fell as a result.

Spearhead Joe underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the right front metacarpal. No stand down period was imposed.

Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Kennel Attendant, Miss Laura Barnes did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event.

Defined Benefit, Rio Baskin and La La Missouri collided approaching the first turn checking Rio Baskin. War Time Novelty and Bop Music collided entering the back straight. Defined Benefit, La La Missouri and Ashby Swift collided entering the back straight checking La La Missouri. Rio Baskin, La La Missouri and McIvor Rusty collided on the second turn checking Rio Baskin and severely checking La La Missouri and McIvor Rusty. McIvor Rusty turned it's head inwards towards La La Missouri in the home straight.

McIvor Rusty underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hind to injury and left fore toe injury. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr. Barry Hiscock regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), McIvor Rusty was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Hiscock pleaded guilty to the charge, McIvor Rusty was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial  in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Bella Beauty – Late scratching at 14:39 on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to illness.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Slingshot Zoe faltered soon after the start and was slow to begin. Stirling Lights, Nangar Troy and Slingshot Sudoku collided on the first turn checking Nangar Troy and Slingshot Sudoku.

Rocky Horror underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Andrew Xerri regarding the racing manners of Rocky Horror on the home turn..  After hearing evidence from Mr. Xerri, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards took no further action.

A pre-race sample was taken from Beretta Girl.

Bongino and Blazing Penny were slow to begin.

Canya Dig It and Beretta Girl collided approaching the first turn. Bongino, Double Tactic and Blazing Penny collided on the first turn checking Bongino and Blazing Penny and severely checking Double Tactic. Beretta Girl and Batman's Dreams collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.

A pre-race sample was taken from Brady's Shout.

Barcia Khan and Kaw Liga collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn checking Barcia Khan. Habib checked off Lala Grapefruit approaching the first turn. Barcia Khan, Invictus Benson, Habib, Brady's Shout and Lala Grapefruit collided on the first turn checking all five greyhounds. Invictus Benson, Habib and Lala Grapefruit collided approaching the home turn checking all three greyhounds. Kaw Liga and Rocco collided approaching the home turn checking Rocco. Kaw Liga and Jayville Menace collided entering the home straight checking both greyhounds.

Kaw Liga underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left fore toe. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Daniel Pell regarding the racing manners of Kaw Liga on the home turn.  After hearing evidence from Mr. Pell, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn.

Bakali George, Dutch Impact and Indy Korie collided approaching the first turn checking Dutch Impact. Bakali George and Pot Luck Chuck collided in the back straight.
