All persons attending today undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, checked in, observed social distance requirements and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed 'Heat Affected'. At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 24.6 degrees and the kennel temperature was 17.2 degrees. The Stewards continually monitored the temperature at the venue as per the GRV Hot Weather Policy. 

Market Bella – New declared weight of 25.2kg, last raced at 26.8kg.

Diversify was quick to begin.

Battle Axe checked off Diversify approaching the first turn. Ocean Jewel contacted the running rail approaching the first turn. Salience and Diversify collided approaching the first turn checking Diversify. Market Bella and Diversify collided on the first turn checking Ocean Jewel. Ocean Jewel galloped on Gem Victorem approaching the home turn and raced wide. Kraken Freckles and Aston Texan raced wide entering the home straight. Salience and Battle Axe collided several times from entering the home straight to approaching the winning post checking both greyhounds.

Aston Texan underwent a post-race veterinary examination following event 10 - no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards finalized an inquiry with Mr Adrian Symons on the 7/3/2022 regarding a breach of the GRV Heat and Transport policy ( GAR 86 (ag). Mr Symons pleaded guilty to the charge and was fined $250.00.

Kraken Rita and Market Lilly were quick to begin. La Blonde and Lights Strike were slow to begin.

After Affair and Brightly Staring collided approaching the first turn. Lights Strike galloped on Market Lilly on the first turn causing Market Lilly to fall. 

Market Lilly underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-vetted following Race 12, Market Lilly was found to have concussion. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Miss Bazaar was quick to begin. All Inn Cash and Veracruz Bale were slow to begin.

Cranky Bruce and All Inn Cash collided on the first turn. Cranky Bruce checked off All Inn Cash approaching the home turn. Ria raced wide on the home turn. Easy Breezy and Miss Bazaar collided approaching the winning post.

King Kenny was quick to begin. Spanish Gold was very slow to begin - 3 lengths.

Affair Fantasy, Baffling and Buck Hunter collided soon after the start. Deltora Quest and Affair Fantasy collided approaching the first turn. Affair Fantasy, Baffling and Spanish Gold collided on the first turn checking Baffling and Spanish Gold. Deltora Quest galloped on Baffling approaching the home turn. Buck Hunter raced wide on the home turn.

A post-race sample was taken from Crackerjack Dean - the winner of the event.

A pre-race sample was taken from Aston Knox.

Dementor, Kraken Attila, Let It Rain and Aston Knox collided approaching the first turn checking Let It Rain. Aston Knox checked off Dollhouse Agogo on the first turn which raced wide, severely checking Dollhouse Agogo and causing Let It Rain to fall; Aston Knox became unbalanced as a result. Kraken Attila checked off Wicked One approaching the home turn and collided with Dollhouse Agogo.

Let It Rain underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion on the right hock. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr Paul Cusack regarding the racing manners of Aston Knox on the first turn. After hearing evidence from Mr Paul Cusack, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards took no further action.

A post-race sample was taken from Wicked One - the winner of the event.

Aston Xavier– Late scratching at7.26am whentrainer Mr Glen Campbell reported the greyhound to have webbing injury. (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Silky Rose was quick to begin. Fashion Icon was slow to begin.

Fashion Icon and Edgy Jack collided approaching the first turn. Tat Panda checked off All Inn Chester on the first turn. Silver Compass and Ducky's Delight collided on the first turn. Edgy Jack and All Inn Chester collided approaching the home turn. Silky Rose raced wide entering the home straight. Fashion Icon and Tat Panda collided in the home straight.

Stewards conferred with the judge regarding the margin and finishing times for 4th and 5th place between Fashion Icon and Tat Panda. A clear margin of a nose was visible in the photo finish image with the actual finish time for Fashion Icon being 26.4151 compared to 26.4158 for Tat Panda. However, as Fasttrack is limited to three decimal places, both times were automatically rounded to 26.416 and as such no margin is displayed in Fasttrack

Two Up Tommy was quick to begin. Chill Out Dusty and Fairytale Bliss were slow to begin. Itchy Kaala was very slow to begin - 3 lengths.

Clase Azul and Crystal Opal collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Chill Out Dusty and Rhymes Valley collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn checking Rhymes Valley, subsequently checking Clase Azul.

Eagle Boy and Swarm collided approaching the first turn. Supasonic Romeo, Crackerjack Ads and Jedda Milne collided on the first turn checking Jedda Milne, Crackerjack Ads, Swarm and Eagle Boy.

The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Shania's Dream with trainer, Mr Jye Formosa and noted his comments.

Tuscan Style checked off All Inn Pearl soon after the start. Ombra and All Inn Pearl collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Ombra checked off Over Slips approaching the first turn. Ombra checked off All Inn Pearl on the first turn. All Inn Pearl and Ombra raced wide on the home turn.

Aston Select and Bell Park Dragon were quick to begin. Got A Jimmy was slow to begin.

Perfect Treasure checked off Aston Sabelle approaching the first turn severely checking Aston Sabelle which collided with Got A Jimmy. Aston Select and Bell Park Dragon collided approaching the home turn. Perfect Treasure and Cyber Crime collided approaching the home turn. Got A Jimmy and Cyber Crime collided on the home turn.

Hartland Gus and Market Bob were quick to begin. Don't Know Jake and Dewana Success were slow to begin. Flying Bella stumbled at box-rise and was very slow to begin - 3 lengths.

Don't Know Jake checked off Siala Giblet on the first turn and collided with Dewana Success. Call Me Jade and Market Bob collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn. Don't Know Jake and Dewana Success collided entering the home straight.
