Steward's Report
All persons attending today, checked-in and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.
Had A Thought turned its head outwards soon after the start. Cool Militant, Magic Murray and Rumbling Black collided approaching the first turn checking Magic Murray. Mcivor Bonnie and Had A Thought collided on the first turn checking Mcivor Bonnie.
Had A Thought underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left calf injury and a left back muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mrs Jennifer Torr regarding the greyhounds racing manners soon after the start. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Had A Thought was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mrs Torr pleaded guilty to the charge, Had A Thought was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post-race sample was taken from Hillbilly Lass - the winner of the event.
