Had A Thought turned its head outwards soon after the start. Cool Militant, Magic Murray and Rumbling Black collided approaching the first turn checking Magic Murray. Mcivor Bonnie and Had A Thought collided on the first turn checking Mcivor Bonnie. 

Had A Thought underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left calf injury and a left back muscle injury.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mrs Jennifer Torr regarding the greyhounds racing manners soon after the start.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Had A Thought was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mrs Torr pleaded guilty to the charge, Had A Thought was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial  in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

A post-race sample was taken from Hillbilly Lass - the winner of the event.

Fabriola Yanis was slow to begin. Miss Rhubarb turned its head inwards soon after the start. Lektra Lad and Downstream collided in the home straight.

Handler, Mrs Jennifer Torr declined the option to have Miss Rhubarb vetted. Stewards spoke to Mrs Jennifer Torr, the handler of Miss Rhubarb regarding the greyhound’s racing manners soon after the start.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Mis Rhubarb was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mrs Torr pleaded guilty to the charge, Miss Rhubarb was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Hillbilly Jane and Bobby Bull Shark collided approaching the first turn. Zipping James and Lektra Lance collided approaching the first turn. Panda Mick brushed the running rail approaching the home turn.

A post-race sample was taken from Aston Cooper - the winner of the event.

The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Pat's Me Mum with kennel representative Mr J.Formosa and noted their comments.

Snack Attack, Pat's Me Mum and King Kaboom were slow to begin. Snack Attack and Pat's Me Mum collided soon after the start severely checking Pat's Me Mum. Come On Aileen, Aston Malmo, Winnie Coaster, King Kaboom and Snack Attack collided on the first turn checking Winnie Coaster, King Kaboom and Come On Aileen. Winnie Coaster and King Kaboom collided approaching the home turn checking King Kaboom. Aston Malmo and Winnie Coaster collided entering the home straight. Mcivor Bluey and Snack Attack collided several times in the home straight and again approaching the winning post.

Pat's Me Mum underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right wrist sprain and a right triangle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Trenzalore, Radical Rex and Beastly Boy were slow to begin. Mad Brax and Zippy Audi collided on the first turn checking Zippy Audi. Beastly Boy and Mad Brax collided approaching the first turn. Beastly Boy, General Shiraz and Radical Rex collided on the home turn causing Radical Rex muzzle to momentarily get caught in General Shiraz rug severely checking General Shiraz and Radical Rex.

Mr Ian Robinson was issued with a warning under (GAR 86(o)) for negligence after the greyhound, Kandinsky was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process. Club officials were reminded of their responsibilities after the greyhound, Kandinsky was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process.  This matter was referred to the Club Manager for further consideration and remediation.

Raichu and Aston Attack were slow to begin. Aston Kenno and Kandinsky collided approaching the first turn. Kandinsky and Pyrenees Alpha collided on the first turn.

A post-race sample was taken from Lektra Heckler - the winner of the event.

Mcivor Clyde and Town Rocker were quick to begin. Mcivor Clyde and Town Rocker collided on the first turn checking Mcivor Clyde. Aston Wonder and Lady Zeeva collided in the back straight checking Aston Wonder.

Mcivor Clyde underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request - no apparent injury was reported.

Midnight Vandal was quick to begin.

Mepunga Missile, Lektra Rhino and Our Fabio collided on the first turn. Holiday In Paris and Sambar Chief collided on the first turn.

Siren Head was slow to begin. Benchester checked off Fernandes on the first turn. Dark Compass checked off Benchester approaching the home turn.

Blazing Penny and Chilly Bin were slow to begin.

Run Machine and Rapid Reiko collided approaching the first turn checking Rapid Reiko. Reiko Barty and Toolong Tiger collided on the first turn checking Reiko Barty. Chilly Bin and Reiko Barty collided on the home turn checking Reiko Barty.

Reiko Flash and Wheelin' In were slow to begin. Mcivor Rusty and Reiko Flash collided approaching the first turn checking Mcivor Rusty which contacted the running rail. Reiko Flash lost ground in the home straight.

Mcivor Rusty underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a right wrist sprain and a torn nail on the left hind leg. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Reiko Flash underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right wrist sprain and a right foreleg toe injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Oscar Slate and Butternut collided on the first turn. Cool Lady, Butternut and Oscar Octopus collided approaching the home turn checking Oscar Octopus. Just Admit It galloped on the heels of Butternut on the home turn. Oscar Octopus and Zipping Petra collided entering the home straight.
