Ormonde jumped awkwardly at box rise. Ormonde and Bevan's Magic collided soon after the start, checking My My My, Penny Moments, Sassy Boo and Ormonde. My My My and Penny Moments collided approaching the 250m mark checking My My My. Sir Come Again and Penny Moments collided approaching the 250m mark. Ormonde and Bevan's Magic collided approaching the 100m mark.

Canny Moments, Miss Bazaar, Knuckled and Panic And Run were slow to begin.

Miss Bazaar and Knuckled collided approaching the 175m mark. Jenny's Joy faltered and lost ground from the 100m mark.

Jenny's Joy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hind toe collateral ligament injury.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Jax Flash crossed in soon after the start and collided with Knuckle Buster and Josie's Call checking Josie's Call. Knuckle Buster checked off Jax Flash approaching the 150m mark. Ivy's Bobby and Raquea's Dream collided when approaching the 150m mark.

Master Febey and Western Bomber collided soon after the start. Unreasonable and Braemar Brianna collided soon after the start. Showboat Capers, Battling Baz, Unreasonable and Nova's Girl collided approaching the 200m mark checking all four greyhounds. Battling Baz checked off Nova's Girl approaching the 100m mark.

Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr Jason Stemmer regarding the racing manners of Showboat Capers approaching the 200m mark.  After hearing evidence from Mr Stemmer, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the 200m mark. Mr Stemmer also advised stewards that it was his intention to now retire the greyhound.

Rower's Rule and Cross Wind were slow to begin.

Unquestioned crossed in soon after the start and collided with Boes Bambino. Rower's Rule crossed out soon after the start checking Cross Wind causing Cross Wind to falter and lose ground.

Cross Wind underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right wrist sprain.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Bit Twisted and Unroadworthy collided soon after the start. Another Vendetta crossed out from the start to the 100m mark. Mt. View Dodger and Bit Twisted collided approaching the 100m mark.

An out of competition sample was taken from Man In Blue on 9th December 2021 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Bruree Fairy and Maximum Sam collided at the 300m mark. Bruree Fairy crossed out at the 300m mark. Bruree Fairy and Man In Blue collided approaching the 150m mark checking Man In Blue and Ronnie Armo. Man In Blue and Ronnie Armo collided at the 150m mark. Bruree Fairy and Ronnie Armo collided at the 100m mark checking Ronnie Armo.

Fly To Victory – New declared weight of 31.9kg, last raced at 30.7kg.

Stockbroker, Go Jack and Fly To Victory were slow to begin.

Hillbilly Jane clipped the heels of Shining Gem at the 250m mark checking Shining Gem. Explodes To Burn turned its head inwards towards Jerry Buzzard approaching the 50m mark.

Explodes To Burn underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right wrist injury and a right groin injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Terry Meyer, the trainer of Explodes To Burn regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the 50m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Explodes To Burn was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Meyer pleaded guilty to the charge, and Explodes To Burn was suspended for 28 days at Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Princess Peggy and Blazin' Mist were slow to begin.

Inter Mary and Blazin' Mist collided soon after the start. She's The One, Crystal Rocks, Inter Mary and My Amelda Rose collided several times from approaching the 300m mark until the 250m mark checking Crystal Rocks and Inter Mary. Inter Mary and My Amelda Rose collided approaching the 100m mark checking Princess Peggy and My Amelda Rose. Inter Mary galloped on the heels of Crystal Rocks approaching the winning post.

Hillbilly Joker was slow to begin and crossed out soon after the start colliding with Kenzo Fernando and Blazin' Fury checking Hillbilly Joker and Blazin' Fury. Kenzo Fernando checked off Mt. View Jewel approaching the 150m mark. Kenzo Fernando faltered approaching the 100m mark and lost ground. Mt. View Jewel checked off Guilty approaching the 50m mark.

Kenzo Fernando underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
