Gild The Lily – Late scratching at 1:35 pm when Mr Peter Frost reported the greyhound to have diarrhoea (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.
Twilight Scar was slow to begin. Seabrook Martin was very slow to begin (3L). Twilight Scar and Spenser Franklin collided on the first turn. Brightly Staring clipped the heels of Twilight Scar approaching the home turn, checking Brightly Star. Seabrook Martin and Brightly Staring collided on the home turn, checking Seabrook Martin.
