Poison Sky and College Boy collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn.  Crackerjack Suni and Poison Sky collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn, checking Crackerjack Suni.  College Boy and Cyber Crime collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight.  Crackerjack Suni raced wide in the home straight.

Our Fabio, Sprinkler System and Little Yaala collided on the first turn; severely checking Little Yaala, which stumbled.  Killashandra and Sprinkler System collided on the second turn.  Margaret's Heart faltered on the home turn and tailed off.

Margaret's Heart underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg hock injury.  A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track and were satisfied it was satisfactory for racing.

Oscar Octopus was slow to begin.  Prabaker, Numinous and Joyous Moment collided approaching the first turn; severely checking Numinous and Joyous Moment.
