Steward's Report
Carry On Star was quick to begin. Waldemar Bale was slow to begin. Kepal checked off Carry On Star approaching the first turn checking Uforo Bale, in turn severely checking Kepal and Carry On Star; Carry On Star lost ground as a result. Kepal and Carry On Star collided approaching the home turn checking Carry On Star. Carry On Star checked off Kepal on the home turn.
Stewards withheld the "all clear" on this Event to view the lateral and head-on vision of the race to ascertain if greyhounds Uforo Bale (No 7), Carry On Star (No 2) and Waldemar Bale (No 8) were materially affected by a bird which flew into the oncoming field in the home straight. After viewing all available vision, and in particular the head-on footage, Stewards were of the opinion that whilst Uforo Bale and Carry On Star baulked momentarily, they were satisfied this did not affect the outcome of the positions and placings of the greyhounds namely, Uforo Bale (2nd), Carry On Star (6th) and Waldemar Bale (7th). As a result, "all clear" was sounded on the placings 6-7-4-1.
