Steward's Report
In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed 'Heat Affected'. At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 31.5 degrees, and the kennel temperature was 19.0 degrees. The Stewards continually monitored the temperature at the venue as per the GRV Hot Weather Policy.
All persons attending today checked-in, wore face-masks indoors and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.
Stewards Issued Mr Aaron Farley with a warning after being on-course but kennelled late for no reason, stewards let the greyhound start in accordance with GAR 31 (3).

Classic Touch and Giovani collided approaching the first turn. Giovani and Queen Of Stripes collided on the first turn checking Starter's King and severely checking Giovani. Rock The Planet crossed out approaching the home turn checking Starter's King.
Rock The Planet underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
