Crackerjack Cap was slow to begin.  Black Organza and She’s For Real collided soon after the start. Black Organza and She’s For Real collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Zipping Bronte and Singin’ Elle collided approaching the home turn.  Singin’ Elle checked off Zipping Bronte approaching the winning post.

Reinforcements was quick to begin.  McGlynn and Miss Roxy collided soon after the start checking McGlynn.  Altercate and Miracle Belle collided soon after the start checking Altercate.  Bark Healy and Kinimakatka collided on the first turn checking Bark Healy, Miracle Belle and Altercate.  Miracle Belle and Altercate collided entering the home straight.

A post race sample was taken from Maximum Brooke - winner of the event.

Stewards conducted a check of the catcher’s licences in accordance with LRR 16.2 -  Miss Molly Parfett - Oliver was issued with a warning for failure to produce her GRV licence in accordance with LRR 16.2. Mr Tom Wright failed to produce his GRV licence in accordance to LRR 16.2 and was issued a $100 fine in accordance with GAR 86 (o).

Boom Buster and Ready To Launch collided approaching the first turn checking Boom Buster.  King Crow and Mechanical collided entering the home straight.

Alter Paddy was quick to begin. Aston Ziebell and Clips collided approaching the first turn. Mahogany Flame and Mad Brax collided on the first turn.  Mahogany Flame checked off Mad Brax on the home turn and collided with Clips.

Bullying was very slow to begin (4 lengths).  Aston Burton, Alabama Anna and Fish Tog Giblet collided on the first turn.  Defy The Critics and Kraken Shimmer collided on the first turn.  Scott Hue checked off Kenji Bale approaching the home turn causing Scott Hue to stumble.  Bullying and Scott Hue collided on the home turn.  Bullying, Scott Hue and Fish Tog Giblet collided entering tne home straight checking Scott Hue.  Aston Burton and Kraken Shimmer collided several times in the home straight.

Scott Hue underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound on a right hind toe.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Samples were taken from Crackerkack Ads & Fernando Mick upon arrival at the course.

Crackerjack Ads, Aston Ryker and Like A Librarian collided soon after the start checking Crackerjack Ads.  Crackerjack Ads and Swift Brittany collided on the first turn checking Crackerjack Ads.  Hatters Lane raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.  Aston Ryker raced wide in the home straight.

Banjo Bert was quick to begin.  Hojilla Bale and Sweet Emily collided soon after the start. Crackerjack Keg, Fearless Pigeon, Kraken Tex and Hojilla Bale collided on the first turn checking Crackerjack Keg and Kraken Tex.

Sugar Shane was slow to begin.  Mahogany Queen and Madam Evie collided soon after the start. Mouthy Boof, Bondy Bear and Aston Samurai collided approaching the first turn.  Mouthy Boof, Bondy Bear, Aston Samurai, Mahogany Queen and Madam Evie collided on the first turn checking Bondy Bear and Madam Evie. Sugar Shane and Madam Evie collided approaching the home turn. Sugar Shane and Madam Evie collided on the home turn checking Sugar Shane.  Mouthy Boof and Rev Up Angel collided entering the home straight.

Crackerjack Lach and Daniel Avocado collided soon after the start.  Crazy Old Duck and Blazing Beast collided on the first turn. Reiko Barty checked off Daniel Avocado on the first turn causing Reiko Barty to race wide.  Josie Wags and Crackerjack Lach collided approaching the home turn. Reiko Barty raced wide approaching the home turn and in the home straight.  Daniel Avocado checked off Sinful Angel in the home straight.

Magnis Bale was quick to begin.  Lips Boloney, Mulga Bill, Inga Luna and Blue Redeemer collided soon after the start checking Lips Boloney.  Hendrik Bale and Abby’s Comet collided on the first turn checking Hendrik Bale.  Mulga Bill and Inga Luna collided on the first turn.  Lips Boloney raced wide approaching the home turn.  Magnis Bale and Blue Redeemer collided in the home straight.

Padrino Rocks was slow to begin.  Zipping Thor and Block Star collided soon after the start checking Zipping Thor.  Aston Shogun checked off Fishbone Express approaching the first turn.  Zipping Demi crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Rock Opera, Zipping Thor, Block Star and Padrino Rocks, severely checking Aston Shogun and Fishbone Express, Fishbone Express fell as a result. Tinted raced wide in the home straight.

Fishbone Express underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right triangle muscle.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Aston Shogun underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.
