An out of competition sample was taken from Ombra on 21.12.21 pursuant to GAR 79A.
Who Knows Chloe was slow to begin.
Aston Texan checked off Wrecking Ray on the first turn. Aston Texan, Wrecking Ray and Who Knows Chloe collided approaching the home turn. Top Plain, Ombra, All Inn Velvet and Halloumi raced wide entering the home straight.
Unakite underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Representative, Mr Dylan Sharp regarding the racing manners of Unakite in the home straight. After hearing evidence from Mr Sharp, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.
