All persons attending today, checked-in and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed 'Heat Affected'.  At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 25 degrees and the kennel temperature was 17.9 degrees.  The Stewards continually monitored the temperature at the venue as per the GRV Hot Weather Policy.

Pursuant to the GRV Hot Weather Policy, the Stewards dispensed with two requirements prior to Race 1 meaning greyhounds were no longer required to remain on course for the specified time and that the parading of greyhounds was to occur, as the outside temperature had decreased to a reasonable level.

A sample was taken from War Drum Express upon arrival at the course.

Golden Quest underwent a veterinary examination at the starting boxes and was declared a late scratching at 6:15pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to injury.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Gintoki Bale was quick to begin.  War Drum Express and Back Net collided soon after the start.  Showtime Boomer checked off Gintoki Bale soon after the start.  Showtime Boomer and Back Net collided on the first turn and again on the second turn.  War Drum Express and Showtime Boomer collided on the third turn.  Tobin Frost marred Gintoki Bale on the home turn checking Gintoki Bale and Aston Jonas.  Back Net marred Tobin Frost in the home straight.

Tobin Frost was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right triangle muscle injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr T. King, Representative, of Tobin Frost regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Tobin Frost was charged with marring.  Mr King pleaded guilty to the charge, Tobin Frost  was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at The Meadows and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Back Net was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.  Stewards spoke to Mr P. Jones, Trainer of Back Net regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight..  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Back Net was charged with marring.  Mr  Jones pleaded guilty to the charge, Back Net  was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at The Meadows and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Aston Profit was quick to begin.  Rio Baskin and Aston Flame collided soon after the start.  Six Speed Manual, Aston Flame, Spring Driven and Eat My Dust collided on the first turn.  Super Marli checked off Hamillson on the first turn.

Bag Secured was quick to begin.  Affair Bit was slow to begin.  Aston Future and Steamer Redeemer collided soon after the start.  Skibo Rebel,  Aston Future and Steamer Redeemer checked off High Action on the first turn.  Skibo Rebel, Aston Future and Steamer Redeemer collided on the second turn.

Party Lights was quick to begin.  So Predictable was slow to begin.  Aces Are Trumps, Snapper Smith, Midnight Flash, Extra Malt and Aston Lavinia collided on the first turn causing Midnight Flash to fall as a result.  Snapper Smith and So Predictable collided on the first turn.  Extra Malt and Aston Lavinia collided approaching the second turn.  Snapper Smith and Major Giblet collided on the third turn.  Extra Malt checked off So Predictable on the third turn.  Snapper Smith checked off Major Giblet entering the back straight.

Midnight Flash was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

A sample was taken from Rear View Mirror upon arrival at the course.

Bella Mia Rocks and Dundee Hornet collided approaching the first turn.  Big Gordy, Rear View Mirror and Dr. Xander collided on the first turn.  Irinka Riley, Coterie and Aston Tango collided on the first turn.  Big Gordy checked off Coterie on the first turn.  Dundee Hornet contacted the running rail on the ifrst turn.

Carry On Angel was quick to begin.  Aston Kenno, Substantial and Aston Sonic collided at box rise.  Qwara Bale checked off Carry On Angel soon after the start.  Qwara Bale and Aston Sonic collided on the first turn.

An out of competition sample was taken from Jungle Deuce on 15 December 2021, pursuant to GAR 79A.

An out of competition sample was taken from Billy Creek, Spotted Elk, Wow's She's Fast, Aston Rupee, Vice Grip, True Collinda, Koblenz and Lala Kiwi on 16 December 2021, pursuant to GAR 79A.

Spotted Elk was quick to begin.  True Collinda was slow to begin.  Wow She's Fast and Koblenz collided on the first turn.  Billy Creek and Jungle Deuce collided on the first turn.  Billy Creek and True Collinda collided on the second turn.  Aston Rupee checkd off Vice Grip in the back straight.  True Collinda checked off Billy Creek on the third turn.  Jungle Deuce checked off Koblenz on the third turn.  Billy Creek, Jungle Deuce, Aston Rupee and Vice Grip collided on the home turn.

A post-race blood and urine sample was taken from Wow She's Fast, the winner of the event as well as post-race samples from the following placegetters:  Spotted Elk (2nd), Koblenz (3rd) and Billy Creek (4th).

Jax Bale was quick to begin.  Indy Fido, Roxy Ouzo, Barooga Smoke and Indy Ghost collided soon after the start.  Tiberia Bale, Indy Fido and Indy Ghost collided approaching the first turn.  Indy Fido and Barooga Smoke collided on the first turn and again on the second turn.  Roxy Ouzo checked off Indy Ghost on the third turn.

Zippy Tesla was quick to begin.  Vardan Bale was slow to begin.  Lala Ivory and Overshadowed collided on the first turn checking Overshadowed.  Subtle Art and Plan Ahead collided on the first turn.  Daylen Bale and Vardan Bale collided on the first turn.  Vardan Bale checked off Plan Ahead on the second turn.  Hennessey checked off Subtle Art on the third turn.  Lala Ivory, Plan Ahead and Hennessey collided on the third turn.

It's A Brew was quick to begin.  All Inn Dungee and Emani Bale were slow to begin.  Wizardry Magic checked off Zara's Ivan soon after the start.  Zara's Ivan checked off It's A Brew on the third turn.  Emani Bale, It's A Brew and Decimate collided on the home turn.
