Lord Maxie underwent a veterinary examination prior to racing and was passed fit to race.
Zippy Wiesman and Holly Fever collided approaching the first turn. Lord Maxie, Ivanka Tea and Tuscan Style collided on the first turn. Lord Maxie and Ivanka Tea collided approaching the home turn checking Lord Maxie. Ivanka Tea and Tuscan Style collided on the home turn. Aston Garner and Zippy Wiesman collided in the home straight.
Moira Rose underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
Tuscan Style – Proved difficult to box and will be boxed first in future events in accordance with GAR 52.
