Steward's Report
All persons attending today, checked-in and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.
The closing time of kennelling was altered in accordance with GAR 31, due to the late arrival of several trainers who experienced significant traffic delays on–route to the track. The kennels closed at 2:35pm.
Draconian, Gem Victorem and Trending Striker were slow to begin. Gem Victorem checked off Trending Striker on the first turn.
Draconian underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left wrist, right shoulder and right back. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Gem Victorem underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right chest muscle and right wrist. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Midda's Missile - winner of the event.
