Dementor checked off Despicable Rin soon after the start causing Dementor to race wide.  Despicable Rin marred Derry Girl at the 275m mark.  Despicable Rin turned its head outwards at the 250m mark and collided with Derry Girl.  Despicable Rin and Derry Girl collided approaching the 150m mark. Despicable Rin marred Derry Girl at the 100m mark.   Despicable Rin and Derry Girl collided several times from the 100m mark to approaching the winning post.

Princess Peggy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left carpal sprain.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Despicable Rin underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right sesamoid injury.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Jihad Talgi, the trainer regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at the 275m mark and the 100m mark.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Despicable Rin was charged with marring.  Mr. Talgi pleaded guilty to the charge, Despicable Rin was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Ms Shara Quinlan regarding the racing manners of Dementor approaching the winning post.  After hearing evidence from Ms. Quinlan, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards took no further action.

Forgot To Tap was quick to begin.

Exit Sign checked off Crystal Rocks approaching the 50m mark. 

Fernando Alessia – Late scratching at 6:28pm (13/12/2021) when L. Carbone reported the greyhound to have a fibula injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Hartland Gus was slow to begin.

Vinny Can Gogh underwent a post-race veterinary examination examination due to an incident in the catching pen and was found to have a right carpal sprain.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from Perfect Treasure - winner of the event. 

Go Quantum – Late scratching at 10:14am on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to elevated temperature.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Pirates Patch and Scaramouche collided soon after the start.  Senor Senor and Perfect Crippa collided soon after the start.  Scaramouche, Superior Jessica and Senor Senor collided soon after the start.  Pirates Patch and Blackpool Astro collided approaching the 125m mark. 

Raised was quick to begin and crossed in soon after the start.

Rona's Rocket went up with the lids.  Rona's Rocket and So Sudden collided soon after the start.  Winlock Benny and Rona's Rocket collided approaching the 250m mark.  Ruby Dealer, Winlock Benny and Foxy Moet collided at the 250m mark.  Winlock Benny checked off Foxy Moet approaching the 200m mark checking Foxy Moet.  Ruby Dealer and Rona's Rocket collided approaching the 200m mark.  Dundee Trigger and Rona's Rocket collided at the 50m mark.
