Steward's Report
White Surprise - Late scratching at 5.29pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a split webbing on the left hind foot. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
A pre-race sample was taken from Hazy Rose.
East Street was quick to begin. Exclusively Mine and Hazy Rose collided soon after the start checking Hazy Rose. Exclusively Mine and Jodie’s Boy collided approaching the first turn. Mallee Swan and Jodie’s Boy collided several times approaching the home turn. Mallee Swan and All Inn Abby collided in the home straight. Mallee Swan and Jodie’s Boy collided approaching the winning post.
Hazy Rose underwent a post race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and no apparent injury was reported.
A post-race sample was taken from Orlando - the winner of the event.
