All persons attending today, checked-in and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed ‘Heat Affected’.  At the commencement ot kennelling the outside temperature was 32.9 degrees and the kennel temperature was 18.2 degrees.  The Stewards continually monitored the temperature at the venue as per the GRV Hot Weather Policy.

Mystical Heist, Downed By Law and Aston Simpkin were slow to begin.  Unakite, Gunai Girl and Jungle Baron collided soon after the start checking Unakite and Jungle Baron.  Yeva Bale and Gunai Girl collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Unakite and Gunai Girl collided entering the home straight checking both greyhounds.  Downed By Law and Jungle Baron collided in the home straight.  Mystical Heist, Unakite and Gunai Girl collided in the home straight checking Mystical Heist.  

Oriental Onyx was slow to begin.  Don’t Tell Julie checked off Runaway Miss on the first turn.  Storm Raptor and Oriental Onyx collided on the first turn.  Don’t Tell Julie and My Boy Charlott collided approaching the home turn.

Charlott’s Blaze was quick to begin.  Bonnie’s Beast was slow to begin.  Wagner Bale and Lektra Sarah collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn checking Wagner Bale and Cam’s Girl.  Wagner Bale and Cam’s Girl collided several times in the home straight.

Winlock At Large, Altercate, Jimmy Reiko, Cawbourne Jean and  Kevlar collided soon after the start checking Altercate, Jimmy Reiko, Cawbourne Jean and Kevlar.  Summer Scorcher, Winlock At Large and Crackerjack Joel collided on the first turn.  Altercate, Jimmy Reiko and Crackerjack Joel collided approaching the home turn severely checking Jimmy Reiko and Crackerjack Joel.  Crackerjack Joel brushed the running rail in the home straight.

Blue Vein and Bull Montana collided soon after the start checking Blue Vein.  Bull Montana, Icarus Bale, Lucky Molly and Enamoured collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Enamoured, severely checking Lucky Molly which fell as a result.  Bull Montana and Enamoured collided approaching the home turn.  Change Of Habit and Xerxes Bale collided approaching the home turn checking Change Of Habit.  Enamoured and Xerxes Bale collided several times in the home straight.

Lucky Molly underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a cervico-thoracic injury and an injured right deltoid muscle.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards took no action against the racing manners of My Name's Nipper approaching the home turn after taking into account that Lucky Molly has fallen in front of the greyhound at this point of the race. 

White Surprise - Late scratching at 5.29pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a split webbing on the left hind foot.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

East Street was quick to begin.  Exclusively Mine and Hazy Rose collided soon after the start checking Hazy Rose.  Exclusively Mine and Jodie’s Boy collided approaching the first turn.  Mallee Swan and Jodie’s Boy collided several times approaching the home turn.  Mallee Swan and All Inn Abby collided in the home straight.  Mallee Swan and Jodie’s Boy collided approaching the winning post.

Hazy Rose underwent a post race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and no apparent injury was reported.

A post-race sample was taken from Orlando - the winner of the event.

An out of competition sample was taken from Mayhem Lass on 30 November 2021 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Royal Gossip and Mayhem Lass collided soon after the start checking Royal Gossip.  Mayhem Lass and All Inn Christy collided on the first turn.

Following the running of this event Stewards dispensed with the GRV Hot Weather Policy as the outside temperature was 26.5.

Fabroni Bale and Shanlyn Cripps collided soon after the start checking Fabroni Bale.  Teflon Tears and Shanlyn Cripps collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn severely checking Kraken Candy and Shanlyn Cripps.  Teflon Tears and Studley collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.

A post-race sample was taken from Robbie Rotten - the winner of the event.

Kraken Attila and Bongino collided approaching the first turn checking Bongino.  Kraken Tyson, Zipping Winslet and Bongino collided on the first turn.  Elli’s My Girl, Kraken Attila and Ethil’s Courage collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds.  Ethil’s Courage raced wide on the home turn and entering the home straight.

Blazing Nenna was quick to begin.  Chasing Moet, Chilly Bin and Slingshot Reaper were slow to begin.  Chasing Moet and Chilly Bin collided approaching the first turn.  Blazing Nenna, All Inn Jasper, Teddy Logan and Meatball Soup collided on the first turn checking Blazing Nenna and Meatball Soup, severely checking Chilly Bin and Teddy Logan.  Teddy Logan and Spring Hondo raced wide in the home straight.

Slingshot Reaper underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a dislocated toe and a split webbing on the left hind foot. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Due to an electrical fault the track lighting failed with start of this event being amended from 10.26pm to 11.00pm to allow the track staff to rectify the issue.

Rapid Royale was quick to begin.  Orson Reiko, Zipping Demi, Spring Empire, Capitulate and Wisdom collided soon after the start checking Orson Reiko and Zipping Demi.  Spring Empire, Capitulate and Wisdom collided on the first turn checking Wisdom.  Zipping Demi galloped on Capitulate approaching the home turn checking Zipping Demi, Capitulate and College Girl.  Capitulate and College Girl collided in the home straight.

Due to the earlier delay the start of this event was amended from 10.45pm to 11.18pm.

Rio Dixie and Mr. Vinnie collided on the first turn.
