Steward's Report
All persons attending today, checked-in and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.
The closing time of kennelling was extended in accordance with GAR 31, due to the late arrival of trainers who experienced significant traffic delays on–route to the track. The kennels closed at 1:40pm.
Defined Benefit underwent a veterinary examination prior to racing and was passed fit to race.
Sir Marley and Sore Loser collided soon after the start checking Sir Marley. Surreptitious, Last Shout and Defined Benefit collided soon after the start. Surreptitious, Rio Tommy and His Got Tow collided approaching the first turn checking Defined Benefit and Rio Tommy causing Defined Benefit to race wide on the first turn. Sir Marley and Last Shout collided on the first turn checking Last Shout. Defined Benefit and His Got Tow collided in the back straight checking Defined Benefit. Sore Loser and Surreptitious collided on the home turn checking Surreptitious. Sir Marley and Surreptitious collided entering the home straight.
