Switched and Liberty Royal collided soon after the start. Knuckles Galore and Connor Man collided approaching the first turn. Freeman's Hope and Catch collided approaching the first turn checking Freeman's Hope which collided with Liberty Royal. Knuckles Galore checked off Catch on the first turn severely checking Knuckles Galore which collided with Car Dealer. Liberty Royal galloped on Car Dealer on the first turn causing Car Dealer to fall. Switched and Liberty Royal collided on the home turn. Knuckles Galore and Switched collided approaching the winning post.
Car Dealer underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
