Sarah Beauty turned its head to the outside soon after the start and crossed out. Divine Calling crossed out soon after the start. Sarah Beauty and My Annabelle collided several times from the 200m mark to approaching the 50m mark.

Sarah Beauty underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left shin soreness. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Kevin Tirchett regarding the greyhounds racing manners soon after the start.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Sarah Beauty was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Tirchett pleaded guilty to the charge, Sarah Beauty was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial  in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

River Raging and Nana Pat collided soon after the start. Yield, Forbes Delight, Lap To Far and River Raging collided approaching the 300m mark and again at the 300m mark. Knuckle Buster – Late scratching at 10:51pm when Mr Terry Meyer reported the greyhound to have soreness (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted. Unquestioned underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a left groin injury and split webbing on the right hind foot. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Maxi Mal – Late scratching at 10:21am due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mr Neil Mason was fined $100.
