Steward's Report
Mr. Blue and Zipping Scorcher were slow to begin.
Mr. Blue and Unathi Bale collided soon after the start. Mr. Blue checked off Bad Bailey on the first turn. Bad Bailey checked off Oliver Bale on the first turn. Mr. Blue galloped on Aston Mirage approaching the home turn checking Mr. Blue and severely checking Aston Mirage, which tailed off as a result.
Aston Mirage underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a fractured right hock. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track approaching the home turn and were satisfied it was satisfactory for racing.
