Steward's Report
Aston Hebe was quick to begin.
Zylon Bale, Zipping Bale, Decimate and Tokyo Ted collided soon after the start checking Decimate. Zylon Bale and Tokyo Ted collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn. Circumstance turned his head inwards and collided with In A Blue in the home straight.
Circumstance underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right deltoid and triangle injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to handler, Mr D Elliot regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Circumstance was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Elliot pleaded guilty to the charge, Circumstance was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
