Steward's Report
Fab Six and Mr. America collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Fab Six. Cruising Ruby checked off College Boy on the first turn. College Boy and Cruising Ruby collided several times in the home straight.
Nowhere Nathe underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer's request and was found to have a laceration to the right fore toes. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Mr. America underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right wrist and left calf and quadriceps. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Cruising Ruby underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examinded following race 11. Cruising Ruby was found to have a left pencil muscle injury and a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Shaun Coulson regarding the racing manners of Cruising Ruby in the home straight. After hearing evidence from Mr. Coulson, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.
