Steward's Report
Enid's Angel was quick to begin.
Ice Star crossed in soon after the start colliding with Eric Garfield and Who Is Arandt. Enid's Angel faltered and lost ground approaching the first turn. Ice Star and Enid's Angel collided on the first turn checking Enid's Angel.
Enid's Angel underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right fibula injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to kennel representative Ms Brooke Berry regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the first turn. After hearing evidence from Ms. Berry, considering the On–Track Veterinarian's report and evidence, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards took no further action.
