All persons attending today wore facemasks where required, checked in, observed social distance requirements, and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

Idaho Evie was quick to begin.  Double Top was slow to begin.

Urbana Bale and Ranger Mick crossed in soon after the start.  Rock Singer crossed out soon after the start.  Double Top and Urbana Bale collided on the first turn checking Urbana Bale and severely checking Double Top. 

Divine Calling – Late scratching at 9.17am due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Seabrook Dow crossed to the rail approaching the first turn and collided with Banjo Son, checking Seabrook Dow, Banjo Son and Chasing The Edge.  Leggero checked off Mr. Blitz on the first turn. 

A post-race sample was taken from Mr. Blitz - winner of the event. 

Gogo Lillian and Inky's Fireball were quick to begin. My Name's Karen was slow to begin.

Chasing Chops and My Name's Karen collided soon after the start.  Gogo Lillian and Inky's Fireball collided approaching the first turn checking Inky's Fireball and severely checking Gogo Lillian.  My Name's Carl and Inky's Fireball collided on the home turn.  Chasing Chops raced wide in the home straight. 

Gogo Lillian underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.  

Brave Lad and Inga Assalt collided soon after the start.  Brave Lad and Blue Cherry Miss collided approaching the first turn.  Forbes Delight checked off Chasing Summer on the first turn.  Brave Lad checked off My Name's Lindy on the first turn.  Forbes Delight and Chasing Summer collided on the home turn.  Brave Lad raced wide on the home turn.  

Mega Heist - Underwent a thorough examination pre-race at the Trainer's request. Mega Heist was deemed suitable to race.

Hailey Lainey was quick to begin.  My Name's Bill was slow to begin.

Agnet Bale, Miss Rose Water and Lonesome Star collided approaching the first turn.  Miss Rose Water galloped on Lonesome Star on the first turn checking Miss Rose Water and severely checking Lonesome Star.  My Name's Bill raced wide on the first turn. 

Enid's Angel was quick to begin.

Ice Star crossed in soon after the start colliding with Eric Garfield and Who Is Arandt.  Enid's Angel faltered and lost ground approaching the first turn.  Ice Star and Enid's Angel collided on the first turn checking Enid's Angel.

Enid's Angel underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right fibula injury.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to kennel representative Ms Brooke Berry regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the first turn.  After hearing evidence from Ms. Berry, considering the On–Track Veterinarian's report and evidence, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards took no further action.

Saint Jett and Currawong collided soon after the start checking Saint Jett.  Way Up North and Attitude collided approaching the first turn.  Way Up North and Ching Ching collided approaching the first turn.  High Plain and Attitude collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  

Brindle Fire - Late scratching at 2.04pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a right hind tarsal sprain.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Our Girl Bailee – Examined during kennelling and again pre-race, declared a late scratching at 5.01pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to vomiting.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

Family Trust and Crystal Opal collided soon after the start and again on the first turn severely checking Crystal Opal.  Gamblin' Ways checked off Aerolithology entering the back straight.  Family Trust checked off Quick Income on the second turn.  

Due to a malfunction of the timing mechanism, the first split was inadvertently semaphored at 16:96 (second split).  The Judge hand timed the first split at 6.94

Brizo was slow to begin.

Chasing Love and Veracruz Bale collided soon after the start.  Our Danny and Utah Bale collided on the first turn.  Veracruz Bale and Brizo collided on the home turn.  Knight's Cross checked off Utah Bale entering the home straight checking Chasing Love, Veracruz Bale and Lonely Jenny.  

A pre-race sample was taken from Tilly Divine.

Darley Dynamo was quick to begin. 

Maximum Coco, Floppy Roo and Tilly Divine collided soon after the start.  Jimmy Cheesecake and Tilly Divine collided approaching the first turn.  Maximum Coco checked off Floppy Roo on the first turn.  Zipping Petra, Jimmy Cheesecake and Floppy Roo collided approaching the home turn checking Zipping Petra.  Maximum Coco and Zipping Petra collided entering the home straight checking both greyhounds.  Maximum Coco checked off Zipping Petra in the home straight.  Floppy Roo checked off Jimmy Cheesecake in the home straight.

A post-race sample was taken from Zipping Slade - winner of the event.  

Speedy Spyro was quick to begin.  Jonas and Grand Warrior were slow to begin.

Speedy Spyro crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Naha.  Crown Sebon and Jonas collided approaching the first turn.  Jonas and Naha collided several times on the home turn and entering the home straight.  Jonas crossed to the rail in the home straight checking Naha.  

A pre-race sample was taken from King Brown.

Bissaka Spider and Pyrenees Spirit were quick to begin.  King Brown and Name Me Nelly were slow to begin.

Bissaka Spider checked off Pyrenees Spirit approaching the first turn.  Mr. Buck Lee, Bartholomew Bale and Name Me Nelly collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds.  King Brown and Name Me Nelly collided approaching the home turn.

Miss Rhubarb – FTP and Blinkers Off - Field of 4, Distance 390m, Weight 26.2 kg, Box 8, Placed 2nd, Time Run 23.57 - Comment: Not cleared, visibly eased first turn.
