Mr Gregory Berry failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Lights Strike for racing.  A warning was issued pursuant to GAR 46(2).

Claretown Dermot underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Shank's Pony underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Following the event Stewards spoke to all catching pen attendants, after the catching pen gate was not closed fully, resulting in five greyhounds returning to the starting boxes. All greyhounds were vetted and this matter was referred to their relevant manager for further remediation.

My Name's Joe and Sydney Showgirl collided soon after the start.  Rothwell Nanjo and Slap Fizz collided approaching the 200m mark.  Mystery Flame, Slap Fizz, Rothwell Nanjo and My Annabelle collided approaching the 100m mark checking Rothwell Nanjo.  Bear Lee Time and Mystery Flame collided at the 100m mark.  On The Mend and Sydney Showgirl collided approaching the 50m mark.  Mystery Flame and On The Mend collided approaching the winning post.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Sydney Showgirl, a post-race sample was subsequently taken.

Golden Years, Blackpool Astro and Benchester collided soon after the start.  Mighty Tracey and Golden Years collided at the 250m mark.  Toyed raced wide throughout the event. 

A sample was taken from Rumour Is Fact upon arrival at the course.

Maverick Sandy, Rumour Is Fact and Moody Girl collided at the 250m mark.  Rumour Is Fact and Aston Camille collided approaching the 150m mark.  Mr. Dazzling and Aston Camille collided at the 50m mark.  

Huey's Dream underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.  Stewards spoke to Mr Shaun Hughes, the trainer of Huey's Dream regarding its performance in this event.  In accordance with GAR 75 (1), the Stewards requested Mr Hughes to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Huey's Dream in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event. 

A post-race sample was taken from Slingshot Reaper - the winner of the event.

In My Pocket underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right deltoid muscle injury.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to handler, Mr Martin Galea regarding the racing manners of In My Pocket approaching the winning post.  After hearing evidence from Mr Galea, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post.

Dynamite Miss, Teofimo, No Way Nellie and Miss Somerton collided soon after the start.  Broken Boots and Teofimo collided at the 250m mark.  Invictus Stella and Silver Ambition collided at the 150m mark.  Invictus Stella and Dynamite Miss collided at the 100m mark checking Invictus Stella.
