All persons attending today undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, checked in, observed social distance requirements and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

Kennels closed approximately 5 minutes after the advertised time due to the late arrival of Mr S. Hanning. Stewards accepted Mr Hanning's explanation for the late arrival of his two greyhounds. 

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Baffling, a post-race sample was subsequently taken.

Riverdale Poppy and Aston Laurent were slow to begin. 

Another Brother and Tinker Murphy collided on the first turn checking Tinker Murphy. Aston Laurent checked off Tinker Murphy entering the home straight. Another Brother marred Baffling in the home straight. 

Another Brother underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr K Howat regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Another Brother was charged with marring. Mr Howat pleaded guilty to the charge, Another Brother is now suspended for 28 days at Geelong and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Mr. Fitty crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Malafon, Mrs. Watson and Ella Grace. Dr. Ronald, Riverdale Peggy, and Marley Griff collided soon after the start. Dr. Ronald checked off Mr. Fitty on the first turn checking Marley Griff. Mrs. Watson and Small Cakes collided approaching the home turn checking Small Cakes. Marley Griff checked off Dr. Ronald on the home turn checking Riverdale Peggy.

Lily Rose Harper was quick to begin.

Piper's My Girl and Razzle Ann collided soon after the start. Blue Cherry Miss and Little Beamer collided soon after the start. Little Beamer checked off Razzle Ann on the first turn. Piper's My Girl and Blue Cherry Miss collided on the first turn checking Blue Cherry Miss.

Spencer Giblet was slow to begin.

Acacia Dream, Reiko Cleo, Jax and My My My collided soon after the start checking Reiko Cleo and My My My. Jax and It's Coming Home collided on the first turn. Reiko Cleo checked off My My My on the first turn. Reiko Cleo checked off Spencer Giblet approaching the home turn. Acacia Dream and Spencer Giblet collided in the home straight. Reiko Cleo raced wide in the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Deadly Walk.

Far Out Frankie was slow to begin.

Ice Star checked off Deadly Walk on the first turn checking Your Embrace and Zipping Malibu causing Zipping Malibu to stumble and falter. Far Out Frankie checked off Your Embrace on the home turn. 

Zipping Malibu underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined after race 9. Zipping Malibu was found to have a right triangle injury and a spike wound. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Lil Snooze, Aston Kayee and Wild Harmony collided soon after the start. Our Ryker, Katie Cortis and Lil Snozze collided approaching the first turn. Lil Snooze checked off Wild Harmony on the first turn checking Aston Kayee.Our Ryker and Katie Cortis collided on the first turn checking Katie Cortis. Lil Snozze checked off Aston Kayee approaching the home turn. Katie Cortis raced wide on the home turn. Lil Snooze checked off Wild Harmony approaching the winning post.

A pre-race sample was taken from Sizzlin' Sanchez.

The start was delayed approximately one minute due to greyhounds arriving to boxes late.

Sizzlin' Sanchez was quick to begin. 

Evident and Especial Edit collided approaching the first turn. Sizzlin' Sanchez, Magic Marjen and Explosive Yaala collided on the first turn checking Explosive Yaala and Especial Edit causing Especial Edit to fall. Magic Marjen galloped on Sizzlin' Sanchez on the home turn checking Sizzlin' Sanchez and Explosive Yaala.

Sizzlin' Sanchez underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg groin injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Especial Edit underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions on left hock, right hindleg triangle and groin injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Two Up Tommy and Quick Income collided soon after the start. Very Elegant checked off Butter Puddin' on the first turn checking Still In Love. Quick Income checked off Two Up Tommy entering the home straight.

Aston Spinel crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Riverdale Bear. Crown Sebon and Aston Spinel collided approaching the first turn. Cool Story Bro, Crown Sebon and Aston Spinel collided on the first turn checking Crown Sebon. Cool Story Bro and Aston Spinel collided on the home turn.
