Steward's Report
Joyous Hope – Late scratching at 2.12pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mr Ricky Coleman was fined $100.
Shifty Shirl was a late scratching at 2.46pm by order of Stewards after it was established that the incorrect greyhound had been presented. At a subsequent inquiry, the Stewards charged Mr Frank Meyer with a breach of GAR 31(2) for failing to present the correct greyhound for racing. Mr. Meyer was found guilty of the charge and fined $250. The 28 days stand-down on Shifty Shirl was revoked.
