Straight Shooter checked off Colonel Diesel soon after the start. Lee Will crossed to the rails approaching the first turn and collided with Riverbank Smokey. Pacific Bar galloped on the heels of Half A Double on the first turn. Pacific Bar and Riverbank Smokey collided on the first turn severely checking Pacific Bar. Pacific Bar and Straight Shooter raced wide in the home straight.
