Pursuant to GAR 104 (6), Starter Paris Toner did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event.
A pre-race sample was taken from Wharfie.
Blair's Rex and Kath's Girl collided soon after the start checking Blair's Rex. Old Ecca and Sydney Showgirl collided approaching the first turn. Sydney Showgirl raced wide approaching the home turn. Dainty Leigh raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight.
Dainty Leigh underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a left wrist fracture/dislocation. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Old Ecca - the winner of the event.
