All persons attending today checked-in, wore face-masks indoors and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed 'Heat Affected'.  At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 23 degrees and the kennel temperature was 19.2 degrees.  The Stewards continually monitored the temperature at the venue as per the GRV Hot Weather Policy. 

Little Ollie Mac and Dr. Chelsea were quick to begin.

Classic Gary and Blazin' Mist collided several times from soon after the start to the 300m mark checking both greyhounds. Mystify Princess crossed out approaching the 300m mark and collided with Arch See All checking Mepunga Gem. Blazin' Mist checked off Mepunga Gem approaching the 200m mark.

Hacker, Sinful Sid, Elliott Ness and Aubameyang collided soon after the start checking Sinful Sid, Elliott Ness and Aubameyang.

A pre-race sample was taken from Rag Time Griff.

This race was delayed approximatly 5 minutes due to the greyhound Dundee Silk being scratched at the boxes for being on season (GAR 24).  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Remember Prince shifted out at the 250m mark. Zipping Sixes, Meehan Marlow and Nifty Nelly collided approaching the 150m mark checking Meehan Marlow. Zipping Sixes and Nifty Nelly collided at the 150m mark. 

This race was delayed approximately 2 minutes due to the previous race being delayed.

Senor Senor checked off Jack Out approaching the 200m mark. Gel Blaster and Main Force collided at the 150m mark.

A pre-race sample was taken from Royal Collinda.

In accordance with LR 22 Mr Andrew Paraskevas was reminded of his responsibilities regarding the non-compliance with the GRV Dress Code.

Ladies Get Grace was quick to begin.

Star Ability and Lord Maxie collided soon after the start. Royal Collinda and Inter Clem collided several times from soon after the start to the 200m mark checking both greyhounds. Ratified checked off Ladies Get Grace at the 50m mark.

Toyed and Speedy Villain were slow to begin.

Toyed crossed out soon after the start and collided with Speedy Villain checking both greyhounds. Toyed shifted out at the 250m mark. Man Cave shifted out at the 200m mark and collided with Speedy Villain.

A pre-race sample was taken from Bolt Out.

Mr Daryl Holmes failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Sweet Petit for racing.  A warning was issued pursuant to GAR 46 (2).

Texicali Tiger and Rack City were quick to begin.

Rack City crossed in soon after the start. Texicali Tiger and Apollo One collided at the 150m mark. Texicali Tiger, Major Bandit and Apollo One collided at the 50m mark checking Apollo One.

Maverick Nacho – Late scratching at 5:37am when Mrs Melissa Bourke reported the greyhound to have Diarrhoea (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Gusson was slow to begin.

American Missile and Spun Out crossed out at the 300m mark.

My Mate Lucas and Soho Expresso collided soon after the start. Smoking Sophie, Red Spur Flyer and Aussie Bear collided at the 300m mark. Smoking Sophie and Red Spur Flyer collided at the 150m mark checking both greyhounds.

A pre-race sample was taken from Denis The Menace.

Illumination was quick to begin.

Nightcore and Illumination collided approaching the 100m mark checking both greyhounds.

Following an inquiry, Trainer Mr John Burch was issued a charge pursuant to GAR86(q) in that he engaged in conduct detrimental to the image and control of greyhound racing. The particulars of the charge being that today, Mr Burch used inappropriate language towards a club official. Mr Burch pleaded guilty to the charge and was fined $250, with $100 suspended for 24 months.

Pure Promise and Orson Emmy collided soon after the start checking Pure Promise. Unquestioned faltered at the 200m mark. Ring A Ranger and Unquestioned collided at the 125m mark checking Ring A Ranger.

Unquestioned underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left deltoid muscle injury and a right hip injury.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Private.

Dolly was quick to begin.

Zanfrey Bale and Smokin' Grille collided soon after the start and again at the 150m mark. Meehan Tommy and Private collided at the 250m mark. Zanfrey Bale checked off Smokin' Grille at the 100m mark. Smokin' Grille crossed in at the 50m mark and checked Meehan Tommy.
