My Juliana was quick to begin.  Starter’s King was slow to begin.  Kenzo Fernando and It’s Coming Home collided soon after the start. Sir Chappy and Mystic Ebony collided soon after the start checking Mystic Ebony. Inga Wally was checked off Sir Chappy approaching the first turn.  Mystic Ebony was checked off It’s Coming Home approaching the first turn. Sir Chappy and Inga Wally collided on the first turn checking Inga Wally.  Kenzo Fernando and It’s Coming Home collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Mystic Ebony and Kenzo Fernando collided several times approaching the home turn checking Kenzo Fernando. Pollard Flyer and My Juliana collided entering the home straight checking My Juliana. 

Tay Tay Swifty – Late scratching at 5:54pm due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer, Mr Mark Denovan was fined $100.

Little Didak and Sagarmatha collided on the first turn checking Sagarmatha.  Ludgate and Zulu Cha Cha collided on the first turn checking Zulu Cha Cha. Johnny Collar shifted out approaching the home turn checking Sagarmatha, Ludgate and Deb’s Wish; Ludgate raced wide as a result.  Blue Tick Erin shifted out on the home turn checking Sagarmatha. Ludgate and Deb’s Wish collided on the home turn.

Click And Win and Turtle Fernando were slow to begin.  Aston Lila and Click And Win collided on the first turn checking Click And Win.  Jaxson Mino and Turtle Fernando collided on the first turn checking Jaxson Mino.  Hot Hand and Eynesbury Flyer collided on the first turn checking Eynesbury Flyer.  Dundee Reactor and Eynesbury Flyer collided approaching the home turn severely checking Dundee Reactor, Turtle Fernando and Our Issues; causing Aston Lila to check off Dundee Reactor. Aston Lila raced wide in the home straight.

Turtle Fernando underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound on the left front foot.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Our Issues underwent a post race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to Ms. Renata Silva regarding the racing manners of Aston Lila approaching the home turn.  After hearing evidence from Ms. Silva, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the home turn.

Celtic Deed and Rogue Empire collided soon after the start.  Ambushed and Stratospheric collided approaching the first turn.  Celtic Deed was checked off Rogue Empire approaching the first turn. Empress Blaze and Starlight Pluto collided on the first turn checking Starlight Pluto.  Fly To Victory galloped on Ambushed approaching the second turn.  Ambushed and Starlight Pluto collided approaching the second turn checking Starlight Pluto which collided with Stratospheric; causing Celtic Deed and Rogue Empire to race wide.  Fly To Victory was checked off Ambushed on the second turn. Celtic Deed raced wide from the back straight to approaching the home turn.  Empress Blaze and Ambushed collided approaching the home turn.  Fly To Victory and Stratospheric collided several times from the third turn to the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Celtic Deed raced wide from the home turn to the winning post.

Starter, Ms Paris Toner was reminded of her responsibilities to ensure that the amber light is activated when the greyhounds are being boxed.

Parabellum, Moon Sister, Majestic Mojo, Aston Solar and Moody Girl collided soon after the start checking Parabellum, Moon Sister, Majestic Mojo and Aston Solar.  Moody Girl and Mclinden collided on the first turn checking Moody Girl.  Parabellum, Moon Sister and Aston Solar collided on the first turn checking Moon Sister and Majestic Mojo.  Parabellum was checked off Aston Solar approaching the home turn causing Moon Sister and Majestic Mojo to race wide.

Metro Boomin’ was very slow to begin (4 lengths).  Invictus Jaxson crossed in soon after the start checking Between Jobs.  Miss Tickle was checked off Nine Nine on the first turn checking Between Jobs, Destructive Riot and Eureka Icon.  Destructive Riot and Eureka Icon collided approaching the second turn.  Leeky Lee and Miss Tickle collided on the second turn checking Leeky Lee and severely checking Miss Tickle, Leeky Lee contacted the running rail as a result.

Fashion Icon was slow to begin.  Teardrop clipped the heels of Fashion Icon approaching the second turn.  Star Ballerina and Midnight Snooze collided in the back straight checking Midnight Snooze. Fashion Icon was checked off Midnight Snooze on the third turn.

The start of this event was delayed by approximately 3 minutes to allow track staff to carry out remedial works on the track surface following a malfunction with the sprinkler system. 

Smooth Talker was slow to begin.  Will Do was checked off Sovereign Wind approaching the first turn.  Lockwood Lad was checked off Will Do on the second turn, faltered and subsequently tailed off.  Dinkydi Asset and Sovereign Wind collided on the home turn.

Lockwood Lad underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right back muscle.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Dashing Dante with Mr Danny Cortese and noted their comments.

Locked And Ready and Dashing Dante were slow to begin.  On TIme Cash and Don’t Start Now collided soon after the start.  Locked And Ready galloped on Tango Icon soon after the start.  It’s A Drama was checked off Don’t Start Now approaching the first turn.  Locked And Ready and On Time Cash collided on the first turn.  Tango Icon and Dashing Dante collided on the first turn.  Locked And Ready was checked off On Time Cash approaching the home turn.  On Time Cash was checked off Dashing Dante on the home turn.

More Speed and Chilly Bin were slow to begin.  Aston Rosa and Hurricane Keely collided approaching the first turn checking Hurricane Keely. Apache Runner crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Bell Park Dragon, Aston Rosa, Hurricane Keely and Nine Wine Wine, severely checking More Speed.

Hurricane Miami was quick to begin.  Worldwide was slow to begin.  Tokyo Ted crossed in approaching the first turn checking Panadero Grace.  For The Thrill galloped on Alfie Solomon on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds, causing Panadero Grace to race wide.  Daddy’s Magic raced wide on the first turn.

Quick Paws was quick to begin.  Hurricane Pete and Baggy’s Gold collided approaching the first turn.  Miss Martina galloped on Aston Dynasty on the first turn severely checking Miss Martina, My Girl Mel and Torryn Bale.

Miss Martina underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.
