Essential persons (both staff & participants) attending today, provided satisfactory evidence of vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination (workers) directions, undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, observed social distance requirements, and adhered to room density quotients that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Aqua's Hope– Late scratching at 14.19 on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a sprained hock. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Willing Wilma was quick to begin.  Tower Bell was slow to begin.

Tower Bell crossed to the outside soon after the start.  Storm Raptor and Sheila Sazs collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn.  Alira Gem checked off Storm Raptor on the first turn.  Storm Raptor crossed to the outside on the home turn.  Tower Bell and Alira Gem raced wide in the home straight.

Hurricane Miss– Late scratching at13.52 due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer,Mr. Joseph Sultana was fined $100.

Prince Nangana– New declared weight of 32.2kg, last raced at 34.2kg. 

Sugar Plum Fairy was quick to begin. Zippy Artist and Prince Nangana were slow to begin. Run Topper and Zippy Artist collided approaching the first turn checking Zippy Artist. Flamin' Sam faltered on the first turn and fell as a result. Run Topper and Zippy Artist collided entering the home straight. 

Flamin' Sam underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock fracture. A 90 day stand down period was imposed. 

A post-race sample was taken from Sugar Plum Fairy - the winner of the event. 

Stewards inspected the track in the area of the first turn and deemed the surface satisfactory for racing. 

Barnaby Blitz– New declared weight of 37.0kg, last raced at 35.0kg.

Calypso Princess was quick to begin. Cryptic Vixen, Majestic Jay and San Martino collided approaching the first turn checking Cryptic Vixen. Dundee Zircon turned its head outwards in the home straight.

Dundee Zircon underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Trainer, Mr Martyn Empson declined his option to have the greyhound re-vetted. Stewards spoke to Mr Empson regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Dundee Zircon was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Empson pleaded guilty to the charge, Dundee Zircon was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Big City Nights was slow to begin. Leo Giblet and Weeona Jack collided soon after the start checking Leo Giblet. Big City Nights checked off Leo Giblet on the first turn. Show Queen crossed to the rail on the home turn checking Havoc's Legacy.

Belt Up Dusty and Urana Vieri were quick to begin. Urana Vieri and Concrete Fever collided soon after the start checking Concrete Fever. Belt Up Dusty, Concrete Fever and Mia's Hand collided on the first turn checking Concrete Fever and Mt. View Dodger. Dodgy Digger checked off Mt. View Dodger on the first turn. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Samp De Keats.

Samp De Keats was slow to begin. Samp De Keats and Wee Gem collided approaching the first turn checking Wee Gem. Captain Cruiser, Reinforced and Just Admit It collided approaching the first turn checking Captain Cruiser and Reinforced. Rower's Rule raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight. 

Yellow And Black, Parumba Barcia and Bomber's Wonder collided soon after the start checking all three greyhounds. Josie's Call and Shango Run collided enteirng the home straight. 

Stewards spoke to Representitive, Mr Christopher Langley surrounding the bona fides of the scratching of the greyhound Fray's Courage who was drawn adjacent to (Kazoo Giblet) in this event. Mr Langley stated that the greyhound suffered a pad injury and was taken to the Vet's earlier today. Mr Langley's comments were noted. 

Keybow Sally was quick to begin. Shady Talks and Mr. Blurton collided soon after the start. Shady Talks and Alecia collided on the first turn. Fenway Lights and Shady Talks collided entering the home straight. 

Crystal Edition was quick to begin. Baby and Urunga Bale collided on the home turn. Baby and Crystal Edition collided entering the home straight. Under His Spell and You Nugget collided in the home straight.

Bomber's Smokey was quick to begin. Claretown Dermot and Piece Of Heaven collided approaching the first turn checking Claretown Dermot. How High Austin and Aston Foxtrot collided approaching the home turn. 

A post-race sample was taken from How High Austin - the winner of the event.

Claretown Dermot – Proved difficult to box and will be boxed first in future events in accordance with GAR 52.

Carnivore and Pull Shot collided soon after the start. Lizzie's Glory raced wide in the home straight. 

Panadero Grace was quick to begin. Fidelia and Zereva collided approaching the first turn. Montaro and My Gem collided approaching the first turn. Yelredda Saint, Montaro, Zereva and Highway Man collided entering the home straight. 

Montaro underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
