Essential persons (both staff & participants) attending today, provided satisfactory evidence of vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination (workers) directions, undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, observed social distance requirements, and adhered to room density quotients that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Nifty Bale with Mrs. T. Kennedy-Harris and noted her comments.

Calypso Princess was quick to begin.  Zippy Artist was very slow to begin (4 lengths).  Darnum Dancer and Meet Winston collided soon after the start severely checking Darnum Dancer.  Darnum Dancer was checked off Nifty Bale approaching the first turn.  Nifty Bale and Piper’s My Girl collided entering the home straight.  Darnum Dancer, Burst The Limit and Calypso  Princess raced wide in the home straight.

Nifty Bale underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

Mt. View Burner was slow to begin.  Little Kevin was checked off Sheila Sazs approaching the first turn.  Little Kevin was checked off Mt. View Burner on the first turn.  Fancy Lily crossed out entering the home straight checking Sheila Sazs.

Mt. View Burner underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

Little Kevin underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right triangle muscle.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Mintaro Bale was quick to begin.  Rock The Planet was slow to begin.  Rock The Planet contacted the running rail on the first turn.  Mt. View Moon was checked off Rio Riley on the first turn.  Mintaro Bale was checked off Under His Spell on the home turn. Mintaro Bale was checked off Mt. View Moon entering the home straight.  Ozzie Dan raced wide in the home straight.

Rock The Planet underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left thigh muscle.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Hurricane Miss was quick to begin.  Mt. View Buck galloped on Urunga Bale on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Black Sky Limit and Hurricane Miss collided on the first turn.  Black Sky Limit was checked off Hurricane Miss on the home turn.  Hurricane Miss and Mt. View Buck collided entering the home straight.  Black Sky Limit and Hurricane Miss collided in the home straight checking Hurricane Miss.

Majestic Jay and Almighty Mack collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds.  Tigers On Fire was checked off Man In Blue approaching the first turn.  Man In Blue crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Captain Warrior.  Majestic Jay and Almighty Mack collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Captain Warrior and Almighty Mack collided approaching the home turn and again in the home straight checking both greyhounds. 

Kazoo Giblet crossed to the rail approaching the first turn and collided with Shady Talks checking Kazoo Giblet, Shady Talks and Elswyk Rocky.  Hurricane Keely was checked off Princess Lace on the first turn checking Elswyk Rocky, Shady Talks and Kazoo Giblet.  Mt. View Ivy and Bomber’s Wonder collided approaching the home turn.  Hurricane Keely crossed out on the home turn.

Irwin Bale - New declared weight of 36.1kg, last raced at 34.8kg.

Reinforced was quick to begin.  Invictus Kelly and Breakaway Benji collided approaching the first turn checking Invictus Kelly, Breakaway Benji and Irwin Bale.  Breakaway Benji crossed out approaching the first turn checking Irwin Bale.  Captain Cruiser and Reinforced collided on the first turn checking Reinforced.  Halo Lad and Magnetic Steff collided on the home turn. Breakaway Benji  raced wide in the home straight.

Matilda Flyer was quick to begin.  Fenway Lights and Waylin Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Waylin Bale.  Alecia and Fenway Lights collided on the first turn.  No Way Nellie and Waylin Bale collided on the first turn and again on the home turn.

Red Nangana underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound on the left hind leg.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Leo Giblet was quick to begin.  Evanlee was slow to begin.  Jack’s Rose galloped on Havoc’s Legacy approaching the first turn.  Evanlee, Havoc’s Legacy, Kuta Cowboy and Jack’s Rose collided on the first turn checking Kuta Cowboy and Jack’s Rose.  Jack’s Rose was checked off Evanlee on the home turn.  Evanlee raced wide in the home straight.

Bomber’s Smokey was quick to begin.  Zippy Customer was slow to begin.  Elswyk Shadow was checked off Elswyk Suzie on the first turn.  Aston Foxtrot galloped on Morosis on the home turn checking Aston Foxtrot and Kamara Bale.  Aston Foxtrot was checked off Kamara Bale in the home straight.  Zippy Customer raced wide in the home straight.

Yellow Brick - New declared weight of 28.0kg, last raced at 29.4kg.

A pre-race sample was taken from Belt Up Dusty.

Yellow Brick and Highway Man collided soon after the start.  Belt Up Dusty, Voodoo Spirit and Black Power collided on the first turn checking Voodoo Spirit, severely checking Belt Up Dusty.  Belt Up Dusty and Yellow Brick collided entering the home straight.  Yellow Brick was checked off Highway Man in the home straight.

Stanley Boy - Was ordered to wear an anti-aggression muzzle in all future events in accordance with GAR 71A.

A pre-race sample was taken from Diama Miss.

Run Robyn Run and Carnivore collided soon after the start.  Diama Miss was checked off Fourth Dimension approaching the first turn.  Fourth Dimention and Zereva collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Yelredda Saint was checked off Mia’s Hand on the home turn.  Diama Miss was checked off Zereva on the home turn.  Diama Miss and Zereva collided approaching the winning post.

Zereva underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion on the right front foot.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Satisfactory trial:-

Lagoona Bale - Failed To Chase and blinkers on - Field of 4, Distance 400 metres, Weight 25.8kg,  Box 1, Placed 4th, Time run 24.31 secs.  Comment: not cleared - turned its head in the back straight and eased in the home straight.

Two Pars - Failed to chase - Field of 4, Distance 400 metres, Weight 31.2kg, Box 6, Placed 1st, Time run 22.89 secs.  Comment: Cleared all tracks

Flying Unicorn - returned to racing - Field of 4, Distance 400 metres, Weight 26.9kg, Box 8, Placed 2nd, Time run 22.95 secs.  Comment: Cleared all tracks.
