Adler Bale checked off Valencia Bale approaching the home turn causing Adler Bale to stumble, colliding with Xerxes Bale, checking Cambria Bale and Bucked Head. After the running of Race 2, stewards inspected the track following heavy rainfall and deemed the track safe for racing.

Due to the track inspection by stewards following race 2, the start of this race was delayed by approximatly 10 minutes.

Warringah Bale and Shima Pearl collided approaching the first turn. Barbella's Image and Al's Shout collided approaching the first turn checking Barbella's Image. Warringah Bale and Al's Shout collided approaching the first turn. Taylen Bale and Shima Pearl collided on the first turn. Beatrix Bale and Runaway Miss collided on the first turn. Warringah Bale and Al's Shout collided on the first turn. Jovi Bale checked off Beatrix Bale approaching the home turn. Warringah Bale and Al's Shout collided approaching the home turn. Jovi Bale visibly eased approaching the home turn, colliding with Beatrix Bale, checking Barbella's Image and Runaway Miss, severely checking Beatrix Bale. Al's Shout and Runaway Miss collided entering the home straight.

Jovi Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Stewards spoke to Mr G. Dailly, the handler of Jovi Bale regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Jovi Bale was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Dailly pleaded guilty to the charge, Jovi Bale was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Ballarat and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

The start of this race was delayed 1 minute due to the stewards track inspection following race 2 and subsequent follow on delay.

Kick It Home and Jagger's Lady were quick to begin.

Fabriola Zero and Octavia Bale collided soon after the start. Sarah's Shout and Romina Bale collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. Sarah's Shout, Romina Bale and Octavia Bale collided on the first turn checking Fabriola Zero. Hazelnut and Fake Shot collided approaching the home turn. Octavia Bale checked off Fake Shot approaching the home turn. Sarah's Shout checked off Fabriola Zero entering the home straight.

Indy Lolly was quick to begin. Red Mahogany was slow to begin.

Happy Hannah and Weblec Scout collided soon after the start checking Happy Hannah, El Cazador and Daylen Bale. Aston Future checked off Weblec Scout on the first turn checking All Inn Benny. El Cazador and Happy Hannah collided entering the beck straight. All Inn Benny and El Cazador collided in the back straight.

Peponi Bale, Flying Surprise and Langfield Bale were quick to begin. 

Flying Surprise and Langfield Bale collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn. Flying Surprise and Langfield Bale collided approaching the home turn checking Flying Surprise and Fernando Dusty, causing Flying Surprise and Got The Torque to collide. Peponi Bale visibly eased in the home straight, veering wide as a result checking Langfield Bale.

An out of competition sample was taken from Graclyn Bale on 26.10.21 pursuant to GAR 79A.
