Meet Winston - Late scratching at 4.35pm when Mr. D. Kerr reported the greyhound to have diarrhoea (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.
Dottie Cotton and Just Saying were slow to begin. Just Saying was checked off Go Saints Go soon after the start. Just Saying and Go Saints Go collided approaching the first turn. Dottie Cotton and Catch A Pearl collided on the first turn checking Catch A Pearl. Catch A Pearl crossed out and raced wide on the home turn. Catch A Pearl crossed in in the home straight in the home straight checking Just Saying.
A post-race sample was taken from Rogue Empire - winner of the event.
There was no head on vision of the back straight for this event.
