Aston Lamont underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abraded left hind paw and an abraded right hind paw. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Keith Anderson, representative regarding the greyhounds racing manners soon after the start. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Aston Lamont was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Anderson pleaded not guilty to the charge, Aston Lamont was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Speak Up and Golden Go were slow to begin. Dundee Raider was very slow to begin - 3 lengths. Klous and Golden Go collided on the first turn checking Golden Go.

Golden Go underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainers request and was found to have an injuries to the toe on the left fore paw, left chest muscle and right chest muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Seven Ounce was slow to begin. Soda Success clipped the heels of Slingshot Jonesy on the first turn checking Soda Success.

Chilly Bin was slow to begin. Chilly Bin, Stunning One and Untested collided on the first turn checking Stunning One. Kraken Spike and Ramona collided on the first turn. Untested and Ramona collided approaching the home turn. Ramona raced wide on the home turn and entering the home straight.
