Essential persons (both staff & participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, observed social distance requirements, and adhered to room density quotients that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Majesitic Jewel was slow to begin.

Sanctioned and Jessie's Brew collided shortly after the start. Open Hearted, Jab and Jessie's Brew collided approaching the first turn, checking Jab and Sanctioned. Tinker Yvonne, Jessie's Brew and Faint Perfume collided on the first turn. Jessie's Brew and Faint Perfume collided approaching the home turn. Tinker Yvonne and Majestic Jewel collided in the home straight.

Tinker Yvonne underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abbrasions to the right hind foot.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Craig Burns regarding the racing manners of Tinker Yvonne in the home straight.  After hearing evidence from Mr Burns, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners.

Crymelon Quick was slow to begin.

Boom Buster checked off Lektra Rhino shortly after the start. Big Cohuna and Sweet Emily collided on the first turn. Miracle Belle and Ava's Prediction collided on the first turn, checking Miracle Belle.

Eadie, Stella's Memory and Limburg Blaze collided shortly after the start, checking Eadie and Stella's Memory. Island Chief and Nova Star collided approaching the first turn, severely checking Nova Star. Eadie checked off the heels of Limburg Blaze on the first turn.

Poison Sky was quick to begin. Battling Baz checked off Westar Storm in the back straight. Don't Forget Kev checked off Sugar Boloney when approaching the first turn. Battling Baz and Permier Slice collided in the home straight.

Killashandra was quick to begin. She Can Exite and Spring Cobra were slow to begin.

Have A Roadie checked off Dark Compass in the back straight. She Can Exite checked off It's A Brew on the first turn. Have A Roadie and Sensational collided on the home turn, checking Sensational.

Abby's Comet, Mepunga Gertie and Crackerjack Lach were slow to begin.

Abby's Comet and Mepunga Gertie collided shortly after the start. Keybow Sally and Drakensberg Dot collided in the back straight, resulting in Drakensberg Dot to be checked, and Keybow Sally to be severely checked. Mepunga Gertie checked off the heels of Keybow Sally on the 1st turn. Mepunga Gertie checked outwards across the heels of Crackerjack Lach and raced wide when rounding the home turn and subsequently lost ground.

Mepunga Gertie underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Ten Dollar Slaps – Late scratching at 12.40pm when Mr. G. George reported the greyhound to have split webbing to the left front toe (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Rezzie's Shout – Late scratching at 3.02pm due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24).  A 28 day stand down period was imposed. 

Sugar Shane was slow to begin.

Saint Mac checked inwards across the heels of Crackerjack Carr when approaching the first turn.

A post-race sample was taken from Nihari Bale (beaten favourite) which placed 3rd in the event. A post-race veterinary examination conducted after race 9 revealed a sprain to the right wrist.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Vardan Bale checked off All In Chester on the first turn, checking Tinker Count and Where's Lesley which were trailing.

Mr. Blurton and Fishbone Express were slow to begin.

Josie Wags, Parlo Bale and Rockstar Ohlmus collided in the back straight. Alabama Anna cross to the rails when approaching the first turn checked Spring Scount and Beach Master. Beach Master and Rockstar Ohlmus collided when approaching the home turn, resulting in Beach Master and Parlo Bale to be checked. Rockstar Ohlmus and Josie Wags collided when entering the home straight.

Swift Brittany, Wheelin' In, Big Brew and Mr. Bent Lee were slow to begin.

Big Brew checked off Mr. Brent Lee shortly after the start. Wheelin' In and Big Brew collided when approaching the first turn. Chief Sebon checked off Rock Opera when approaching the home turn. Mr. Brent Lee checked off Chief Sebon when entering the home straight.

Crazy Old Duck was quick to begin. Lightning Gadget was slow to begin. Jetta's Shout checked off Sneaky Kiss shortly after the start. Sneaky Kiss checked off Like A Librarian on the first turn. Jetta's Shout checked outwards across the heels of Sneaky Kiss on the second turn and collided with Star Shooter resulting in Jetta's Shout to be checked, and Star Shooter and Sadiki Bale to be severely checked.

Jabba Bolt and Tilly Divine were quick to begin. Roots Rock Riot, Electric Zulu, and Rev Up Angel were slow to begin.

Electric Zulu improved onto the heels of Nina Girl Mia on the first turn, severely checking both greyhounds. Roots Rock Riot checked off Tinker Cindy when approaching the winning post.
