Stewards spoke to Mr Chris Constantinou regarding the racing manners of Keenan Rocks in the back straight.  After hearing evidence from Mr Constantinou, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the back straight.

Dead Of Light – Late scratching at 8:16am when the trainer Ms. S. Warde reported the greyhound to be lame (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Luna Cruz was slow to begin.

Thunder Strike checked off Aston Wise on the first turn causing Thunder Strike to race wide. Meet Winston and Luna Cruz collided on the second turn. Meet Winston checked off Luna Cruz in the home straight.

Midnight Snooze and Fabian's Gold collided soon after the start. Flaming Rush and Zambora Alani collided approaching the first turn. Fabian's Gold, Cayden Bale and Forever A Dream collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Cayden Bale checked off Forever A Dream on the third turn.

Rapido Lass and Big Wings were quick to begin.

Parzival and Frank's Girl collided soon after the start. Parzival crossed in soon after the start checking Fantastic Raven and Fractured. More Deductions checked off Parzival on the second turn.

Stewards spoke to Club official Ms. R. Petterlin after an incorrect greyhound was retrieved from the kennels pre-race. This matter was referred to the Club Manager for further consideration and remediation. 

Moraine Izzy and Pechey's Girl collided soon after the start checking Moraine Izzy. Pechey's Girl and Amnesty collided in the front straight, on the second turn, on the fourth turn and entering the home straight.
