Dr. Earnie - Late scratching at 6.33pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a papilloma on the left hind foot.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Show Queen was slow to begin.  Flossie Ann clipped the heels of Rio Bonnie on the home turn.

Jebrynah Umida, Elswyk Jordy and Invictus Stella collided on the first turn checking Jebrynah Umida, severely checking Elswyk Jordy.  Rapid Voyage and Jebrynah Umida collided on the first turn checking Jebrynah Umida.

A pre-race sample was taken from Dwarshuis.

Magic Marjen and Dwarshuis were slow to begin.  Rev The Jockey and Geena Bale collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Geena Bale and Rev The Jockey collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight.  Dwarshuis raced wide In the home straight.

Eugenie and Blazing Norman were slow to begin.  Eugenie and Flywheel Bandit collided approaching the first turn.  Prince Nangana, Circus Dancer and Bonnie Gem collided approaching the first turn.  Flywheel Bandit and Blazing Norman collided on the first turn checking Flywheel Bandit.  Eugenie, Bonnie Gem and Flywheel Bandit collided on the first turn severely checking Bonnie Gem and Flywheel Bandit.  Circus Dancer and Blazing Norman collided on the first turn checking Circus Dancer.

A post race sample was taken from Elswyk Suzie - winner of the event.

Elswyk Shadow, Hoppy Bob and Jazzy Minter were slow to begin.  Crossfire was checked off Amazonian Queen on the first turn.  Crossfire and Elswyk Rocky collided approaching the home turn.

A pre-race sample was taken from Run Robyn Run.

Dr. Slats and Notoriety were slow to begin.  Dr. Slats crossed in on the first turn checking Coco’s Hot and Persian Goddess, severely checking Four Aces which fell as a result checking Notoriety, severely checking Run Robyn Run.  Coco’s Hot and Notoriety collided in the home straight.

Four Aces underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

Variation was quick to begin.  Diesel Runner and Master Febey collided on the first turn checking Master Febey.  Kutcher’s Ruslie crossed to the rail entering the back straight severely checking Hustle Hard and Master Febey, checking Madalia Mick, Hustle Hard faltered as a result and subsequently pulled up.  Rose’s Honey was checked off Variation approaching the home turn.

Hustle Hard underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a fractured right hock and was humanely euthanased.

A post race sample was taken from Kutcher’s Ruslie - winner of the event.

Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track entering the back straight and were satisfied it was satisfactory for racing.

A pre-race sample was taken from Aussie Legend.

Rasputin was quick to begin.  Aussie Legend was slow to begin.  Mac Rooster and Flywheel Dolly collided on the first turn checking Mac Rooster.  Flywheel Dolly and Aussie Legend collided several times from the first turn to approaching the home turn.  Aussie Legend, Flywheel Dolly and Mac Rooster collided entering the home straight.

Maxwell was quick to begin.  Brazen King was slow to begin.  Sandy Gem and Cosmic Roy collided approaching the first turn.  Blue Tiger and Maxwell collided on the first turn and again on the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Bernadette crossed out in the home straight and collided with Sandy Gem.  Cosmic Roy and Blue Tiger collided in the home straight.

Blue Tiger underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured toe on the left front foot.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Back Moo Moo.

Minter Zoom was quick to begin.  Minter Zoom and Spun Out collided on the first turn.  Black Moo Moo and Minter Zoom collided on the first turn.  Black Moo Moo and Inuka collided from approaching the home turn to the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Black Moo Moo and Inuka collided approaching the winning post.
