Lilly Blaze underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.  Stewards spoke to Mr Nicholas Sheehan regarding the racing manners of Lilly Blaze in the home straight.  After hearing evidence from Mr Sheehan, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.

King Cujo and Violet Rose collided on the first turn; severely checking both greyhounds.

Trainer, Mr Craig Treherne who had three runners Moon Over Mexico (box 1), Elusive Flyer (7) and Rosebud Smile (8) engaged in the event, advised Stewards that Rosebud Smile had been sold and subsequently withdrawn from the event.  This resulted in Elusive Fly being afforded a vacant box to its outside.  Stewards accepted Mr Treherne's explanation.

Madlenka was quick to begin.  Rahela Bale was slow to begin.  Elusive Fly turned in the boxes and was very slow to begin (4L).

Elusive Fly underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg hamstring injury.  A seven day stand down period was imposed.  Elusive Fly – Turned in the boxes and was very slow to begin.  Placed on a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 52(1), pursuant to GAR 72.

Dark Stormy was quick to begin.

Lektra Gal crossed to the rail approaching the first turn; checking Lenny's Jagger, Dark Stormy and Ed Deeds; severely checking Twinkle Love.  Short Tyson, Lenny's Jagger and Dark Stormy collided approaching the home turn; checking Short Tyson and Dark Stormy.

Calico Bull was slow to begin.

Tinker Dazz, which tailed off, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg metatarsal fracture.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
