Trainer, Mr Correy Grenfell advised Stewards of the kennels scratchings in this event.  Mr Grenfell explained that Pinjarra Bale sustained a left fore stopper injury yesterday and Tiggerlong Nibel had diarrhoea.  Stewards accepted Mr Grenfell's explanation.  Mr Grenfell added that in his opinion the early betting market was not a true reflection of the kennels chances.  Mr Grenfell stated he expected Loxton Bale to win the event and had wagered on the greyhound accordingly.
