Crymelon Quick – Late scratching at 7:23 am when Mr Ian Bibby reported the greyhound to have diarrhoea (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.
No Bob Rob went up with the lids at box rise. Winlock Benny and Bobby McGee collided soon after the start. Winlock Benny, Pay May Joy and Bobby McGee collided approaching the first turn. Winlock Benny checked off Bobby McGee on the first turn. Myola Frost and Bobby McGee collided approaching the home turn.
A post-race sample was taken from Pay May Joy - the winner of the event.
Pat May Joy – trainer, Ms Jeanette Spruyt was queried as significant betting fluctuations were observed by Stewards. The comments of Ms Spruyt were noted and a sample was taken for analysis.
