Reiko Barty, Knuckle Buster, Devil's Disguise, Tumbaraumba Time and Joyous Legacy collided on the first turn causing Joyous Legacy to fall. Devil's Disguise and Tumbarumba Time collided approaching the home turn severely checking Tumbarumba Time. Zipping Petra and Bag Secured collided approaching the winning post.
Reiko Barty underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have shin soreness to the left and right forelegs. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
