Steward's Report
Essential persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, observed social distance requirements, and adhered to room density quotients that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.
Prior to the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track following heavy rainfall in the area and were satisfied it was clear for racing.
In A Blue was very slow to begin, 3 lengths.
Aston Burton and Little Miss Me collided soon after the start. Affair Fantasy and Hint Of Mint collided approaching the first turn. Aston Burton, Little Miss Me, Affair Fantasy and Hint Of Mint collided on the first turn checking Aston Burton, Affair Fantasy and Hint Of Mint. Affair Fantasy and Hint Of Mint collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn checking Hint Of Mint, severely checking In A Blue and Affair Fantasy resulting in In A Blue to fall.
In A Blue underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Mr Ronald Kenworthy regarding the racing manners of False Alarm on the home turn. After hearing evidence from Mr Kenworthy, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards took no further action.
Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track on the home turn and were satisfied it was satisfactory for racing.
