Reiko Mini underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a sore righ thigh. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Korey Coleman regarding Reiko Mini's racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Reiko Mini was charged with marring. Mr Coleman pled guilty to the charge, Reiko Mini was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

A post–race sample was taken from Irelyn Bale –  the winner of the event. 

Irelyn Bale underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left quadriceps injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Mr Neil Jones regarding Irelyn Bales’s racing manners approachiung the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Irelyn Bale was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Jones pled guilty to the charge, Irelyn Bale was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

A post–race sample was taken from Hardaway Gwennie –  the winner of the event.

Cool Story Bro and Mt. View Dodger were slow to begin. 

Cool Story Bro underwent underwent a post–race veterinary examination at the trainers request and was found to have a laceration and spike wound to the left fore toe. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

A post–race sample was taken from Blue Bandana –  the winner of the event. 

Major Bandit was slow to begin. 

It's Coming Home – Acting on a confirmed telephone call with Trainer Mr Jayden Cassar the greyhound was declared a late scratching at 12.05pm. A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Mr Cassar was advised that supporting evidence will need to be submitted to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 72 hours of the occurrence that caused the non–arrival. The matter will be re–evaluated upon receipt of this evidence. Supplementary Advice 29 June 2022 - The 28 day stand-down issued to It's Coming Home was removed, with the Stewards satisfied as to the reason for withdrawal.

A pre–race sample was taken from Orla Bale. 

Orla Bale was quick to begin. Good Chat Sam was slow to begin. 

Trainer Ms Nicole Lund, who initially had three greyhounds engaged in the event, explained that Pretty Much was scratched due it being treated for an illness. Reality Crowns raced at Traralgon yesterday and therefore was automatically withdrawn from this event. Ms Lund’s comments were noted.
