Reena was quick to begin.
Bold Design crossed out and turned it's head outwards in the home straight ,underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported, Mr Gary Sciortino declined to have the greyhound revetted. Stewards spoke to Mr Gary Sciortino, the trainer of Bold Design regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124 Bold Design was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Sciortino pleaded guilty to the charge, Bold Design was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Traralgon and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
