A sample was taken from Echo Chamber upon arrival at the course.
Zipping Mariah and Echo Chamber were quick to begin.
Soda Felix was slow to begin.
Gotham Prince fell after the finish, underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Zipping Dixie, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a pencil injury to the left hindleg and a deltoid injury to the left foreleg, A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Luke Adams regarding the racing manners of Zipping Dixie in the home straight. After hearing evidence from Mr Adams, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.
