Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Battlers Three.
Aston Bier and Battlers Three were quick to begin.
Worldwide underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a hock sprain. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Melissa Biggins, the trainer of Worldwide regarding the greyhound’s racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Worldwide was charged with marring. Ms Biggins pleaded guilty to the charge, Worldwide was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127(a) and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Mr Malcolm Carr in relation to an incident which occurred at Warragul on 5 2022, prior to the running of Race 12. Stewards issued Mr Carr with a warning under GAR 156 (f) (ii) (negligence) for failing to apply to Stewards, as required to under GAR 100 (8).
