Crawl Back underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound on the right stopper and right hind foot; a zero day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative, Mr Michael Carlstrom regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Crawl Back was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Michael Carlstrom pleaded guilty to the charge, Crawl Back was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

A sample was taken from Brandeen Jerry at the trainer’s kennel earlier today.

Brandeen Jerry contacted the running rail after the finish,  underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left shoulder injury and an abrasion. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Myall Hiker – Proved difficult to box and will be boxed first in future events in accordance with GAR 106.

Ms Biggins pleaded guilty to the charge, Worldwide was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127(a) and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
